I have come to understand that you have reached an agreement with verisign that allows the price of the .com domain to be increased without clear description of what benefit the holders of .com domains will receive in return.
I am writing to say that I think the terms of this agreement do not sound like they benefit the general public. It also sounds like the terms were reached without input from the public at large which is a huge mistake.
As an owner of a few small high school sports websites that are funded by donation I can tell you that I would switch the domain names in a heartbeat and notify my users by email of the change. I can guarantee that no one else would want these domain names.
