[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement

I am a small business owner and registrant of a .com domain name that is
vital to my small businesses success.

I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. The internet is
supposed to be a place to allow people to come together and democratize
voices, not filter out voices to only those that can afford the luxury.

No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices.

The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified.

Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry - it has no business
dictating the price.

ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest.
In our modern society, the public interest is regular being railed against
by corporations, lobbyists, and special interest groups. Please stand up and
support the public interest (fulfill your role and protect against corporate
greed).
