Hello.

I object to removal of the .com Maximum Price restriction under Section
7.3(d)(i) (Maximum Price) of the .com Registry Agreement. I also object to
the new pricing flexibility that allows annual price increases on .com
domains in the last four years of each six-year period.

Vague assertions that the changes will ensure the "security, stability and
resiliency of the Domain Name System (DNS)" don't follow from the proposal.
I see no connection between the stability of the internet and the pricing
of the .com domain. If, for some unstated reason, ICANN and all the
registrars need more money to manage the internet, then I would prefer to
have the price increase spread over all domains, and not just applied to
the .com domain. Better still, I think the US Department of Commerce should
have the sole authority to set the wholesale domain price.

To reiterate, I reject the proposed .com RA amendment.
