With the proposed price increases individual domain owners , such as myself
, Will be forced out of owning our own Domains.  In many cases the Domain
names serve Hobby or Open source development projects. In many cases the
projects generate little to no revenue.  Creating a financial burden for
small domain owners is not an appropriate way to gather revenue for
expenses. Large corporations can surely afford an increase since they  must
also protect their Brands.  They can and will pay more.  but the majority
of small developers will not be able to pay the burden. Please reconsider
the fee structure you are proposing in ligh of the small owner community
