The proposed amendment to allow for the increase of .COM registration prices is not in the interest of the public nor the health of the domain name registration system. The increased prices would hurt individual .COM domain owners and small businesses, creating a barrier and reducing their valued and longstanding internet presences. This amendment would reduce the trust that the public has placed in the domain name system and could potentially lead to the fracturing of the system and the creation of competing systems.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best regards,
Ronnie Shamir
