My reasons are as follows
1. Verisign, as the domain name controller, controls 80% of the domain name
pricing. It may initially attract consumers to buy with prices. After most
consumers buy from them, it will monopolize the domain name price so that
the domain name price is as high as they want.
2. Verisign agrees to pay ICANN an additional $ 20 million over five years
to support ICANN's plan for the security and stability of the domain name
system. Does Verisign explain why this is the case? VeriSign only manages 2
of the world's 13 root servers. Why is Verisign paying to ICANN? Not other
3.ICANN accepts $ 20 million from Verisign, but only explains the purpose,
and does not disclose any plans to use the money transparently. How should
the money be used? How to ensure that it is really used in this way.
