The .COM domains are the soul of online entrepreneurship, if prices rise
unilaterally they are preventing access to many people who are starting
with their business and this circumstance will eventually go against the
expansion of .COM domains as alternatives will be sought  cheaper.
The effect they seek, which is none other than to earn more money, will
turn against you.  I would think about it before making this very enjoyable
