Hello ICANN
I have grave concerns about the proposed amendment 3 to the .com registry
agreement.

It's understandable that price sometimes goes up due to salary increases
but over time prices for IT services goes down due to advancements in
technology. Setting a fixed price increase removes incentives to
innovate and improve the service.

A domain registry is a vital service in today's modern society. Web sites,
email and other services all rely on domain names. Every business from a
single person company to multi billion dollar enterprises need a presence
on the world wide web. Therefore it's essential that this service is
affordable to all.

Also, the price should match the service. The information that is kept for
a domain registry is very small and storage is cheap. The information is
rarely changed. If you compare what you get with other services for the
same price. Some provide at least a few gigabytes of data, multiple copies
of the information (revision history), backup, restore, mobile apps and
very high security.

Regards, Michael Ellnebrand
