Owner of several .com domains, and several on other TLDs, used for
business, community, and personal purposes.

The current rate on .com is already inflated, and would be benefit from
competition outside of Verisign. If ICANN allow Verisign to further squeeze
their customers who're subject to their monopoly, then they're no longer
representative of public interest. Large companies will of course find no
issue with the extra expenditure, but the Internet and those who have .com
domains is a lot more expansive than those large companies.
