[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] ICANN Verisign Collusion?

I just read that Verisign gave ICANN and extra $20 million and in return,
Verisign will be able to raise prices on ,COM domains more than double the
rate of inflation, and even more for other, unspecified reason if
necessary. This doesn't even sound legal. I'm writing to vent my dismay
that this could even happen and urge you to reconsider this policy.

The price increases that will result will hamper small businesses and limit
startups because they'll be too expensive. You are, in effect, reducing
access to the internet for many and limiting resources to fewer providers.

I will also be writing to my congressmen and senators to urge them to
investigate this deal.
