I am concerned about the content of Amendment 3, with the repercussions of
restricting the freedom of speech on the Internet, with the potential
increases in costs of .com top level domains. Corporations will only take
more control of the Internet with their ability to pay higher domain
registration fees.

Please reconsider the far-reaching implications of this amendment, and
allow the registration of .com domains to be available for a reasonable
price.

I am also concerned about the potential conflict of interest that Verisign
would put itself into as a registrar, even indirectly. Internet security is
already challenging, and by keeping their services separate from
registration, there is additional protection that would be lost with their
expansion to becoming a registrar.

Thank you.
