I believe that the internet is for everyone. And that it is necessary now. It’s almost a commodity. If a lot of people cannot afford education, they only find the internet as the cheapest accessible place. What would happen if that is taken away too? A lot of websites wouldn’t be able to sustain their content and in the end, shut down. I hope you consider this. Don’t exchange a single huge gain for a long-term loss, as less and less people would get .COM domain.
