This in essence allows a single vendor Verisign to control the cost of
usage for the entire internet.
You should have at least two vendors and better yet three competing for
any proposal. You also have one point of failure using just Vendor
Verisign (choke-point) - shouldn't you have at least two with redundancy
between them.
The internet has evolved to be be sole of open source and world
communications. Don't rock the boat - it might tip over - and then we
will need a new one.
