The amendment as proposed will almost definitely make it more expensive to operate a website, which undermines the creative entrepreneurship that makes the Internet one of the greatest inventions and tools in human history. This decision smacks of greed and a focus on short-term gain over responsible stewardship over an important piece of the Internet. Please let reason and the voices of the people who use the Internet guide how ICANN makes this choice instead of benefiting the privileged few.
