We believe the internet to be a communal space. Yes it costs money to run it but no private company or corporation should be able to hold users to ransom, in effect, by controlling the price of their usage.
Settle on an independently arbitrated rate and stick to it, with possible 5 or 10 year readjustments due to inflation, if necessaryn.b. there are a lot of small personal users who will be adversely affected by this.
