Hello,
I have been helping businesses and individuals since the beginning of the modern day .com based internet.
And I and my clients and friends do not appreciate the proposed changes Verisign and ICANN have agreed to.
The purpose of ICANN is to operate in the interests of the PUBLIC, not in the interests of the corporate. And this arrangement will ONLY benefit the corporate entity, Verisign and also ICANN, to the direct detriment of the public to which ICANN is supposed to be operating on behalf of.
This is similar to the controversy of the .music or .author or .book or .writer TLDs potentially going to another major corporation such as Amazon, instead of protecting the artist community the TLDs are meant for.
This is similar to the misguided AB5 bill that was passed into law in California, where it hurts the vast majority of the people it is pretending to protect.

Please reconsider this proposal, and turn it down.
In the interests of the public to which ICANN says they represent.

Thank you,
Neo
