[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Opposed to Additional Pricing Structure of .COMs

Hello,

I am a registrant of a .com domain name (many .coms in fact.)

I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains.

Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business
dictating the price. ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in
the public interest. That means maintaining the domains at an
affordable and widely
accessible rate.

What is the purpose of having ICANN AT LARGE when public interests are not
considered in the decision making?

The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified.

Sincerely,
M Lucio
