ICANN must operate with full transparency if you want to earn back the public’s trust. The Internet may be the very first global public trust and ICANN must manage it for the common good of global citizens. The power and creativity of the Internet was fueled by accessibility. If Verisign purchases the ability to become a domain registrar, directly or through an intermediary, Internet accessibility and creativity will be diminished. Keep caps on .com prices. Operate with full transparency. Seek and follow feedback from the public.
