Hello,
I am strongly opposed to Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry
Agreement. One of the core reasons why ICANN exists is to promote
competition, but this amendment seems to do the exact opposite. Allowing
Verisign to operate as a domain registrar will give them too much power to
control pricing and shut down competition. If anything policy changes
should be made to encourage competitors of Verisign, not to give a company
with significant power over domain name pricing even more control. Please
reconsider this amendment.

Regards,
Andrew Dant
