Dear Sirs and Madams,
As the Website Administrator (a volunteer position) with a Small local sports league that is in the process of moving to (hopefully) Non Profit status, and as an individual that is looking to create a website for my own creative endeavors, I have concerns that the Proposed Amendment to the .COM Registry Agreement will create not just increases in the initial cost of creating and registering a website, but those increases will be substantial, pricing small Non Profits, and smaller businesses, and individuals, out of being able to establish an internet presence, making it much more difficult to share their information, products, services, ideas, with people trying to find out about those products, services, ideas, and information. If the Internet becomes so cost prohibitive to simply register an domain, because corporations want to insure their largest possible profit margin, it reduces the entrepreneurial esprit de corps that makes the Internet what it is, a place to find that hard to find item, service, or product, that cannot be found locally. Please work to insure the little sites, individuals, small businesses are not priced out of being able to afford having a web presence.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
