[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Forthcoming Increases in COM DNS Registration

To Whom It May Concern,

I strongly object to the agreement reached between Verisign and ICANN to allow a substantial increase in the wholesale price for .COM registration over the next 10 years.
Why was this fee increase negotiated in secrecy  without considering input from the ICANN community or Internet users?
ICANN has a responsibility to the Internet community to be open and judicious in their operations.  The upcoming agreement falls far short of this goal.
