I strongly object to the proposed move to allow open ended increases in the fees charged for .COM domains.

My own domain HUNTTING.COM has been the home for a long series of public service, non-profit, websites over the years. When first assigned, decades ago, there was very minor commercial content that has long since ended, but by then the domain name was established as a reference point for several Internet communities. Changing my domain to a ORG, NET or other TLD would be a disservice to many long-term users.
