Regarding the recent Verisign controversy:

This type of dealing is unethical and, regardless of the intentions of those making this move, ICANN needs to back out of this deal. This isn’t behavior consistent with the massive amount of responsibility that lies in ICANN’s hands.

Don’t ruin the Internet. You won’t be able to — it’ll come back — but in the meantime it’ll just get a lot of good people killed in countries where data privacy is the difference between life and death.
