[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Increasing the price of .com

I recently learned the intent to increase the prices of .com domain
registrations. As a small business owner, who is a 1-person show, it is
unacceptable to me that such price increases would take effect - especially
for those of us who are small business owners and/or operate a personal
website or blog. The affordability of having a domain registered, something
that is critical for the success of any enterprise in today's Internet
world, is becoming less realistic. The .com domain is still the basic
standard by which people search for websites, and to create a system where
it is out of the reach for everyone except those with thick pocketbooks is
unacceptable and only demonstrates a ridiculous level of greed.
