Honestly, the cost set for simply availing itself of a non-Cost of Goods 
service such as Domain Name Registration is high enough.

When there is such a monopolistic service, we need to be vigilant about 
who/how those prices should be changed.

There is no need�and it's a TRAVESTY to allow�a change in the whole sale 
price of .COM domain registration.

Unless there is a public accounting on the INCOME and PROFIT associated 
with the .COM domain registration process and an OPEN BID option, with 
guidelines like a typical RFP that allows any company access to that 
revenue, then the pricing should stay as is.
