I'm the CEO and founder of a web development agency. Our entire team finds
it disgraceful that ICANN would enter into an agreement with such large
ramifications for the internet community as a a whole without duly
consulting and incorporating feedback from the global community. Every
organization essentially wants *more money*, we understand that. But when
you take on responsibility as a regulatory agency for something this
important to human society as a whole, you should know you can't just be
looking out for yourselves.

This kind of action taken in such a self-serving and non-transparent way
deeply affects our organization's respect for ICANN as a whole, and I know
it does the same for much of the community that is aware of these
shenanigans. This is your opportunity to make an adjustment to mitigate the
impact of this poor decision before the damage to ICANN's reputation is
permanent and irrevocable.
