What can I say? I am old, unemployable, and about to be declared disabled, meaning my income will continue to be so far below the poverty level, I’ll most likely end up homeless. My one hope for a decent standard of living is to make a little online. My plan, such as it is, may be a delusional dream, but every penny matters to me right now, and domain name expenses are unavoidable, and every single dollar matters. The thought of a 50-70% increase, even over a period of a few years, is disheartening.

Of all the ways big companies can control the internet, why does one have to be to seemingly work to completely eliminate the lone content provider who just hopes to make a few extra dollars a month?
