[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement

To whom it may concern,

this Amendment is unacceptable and goes directly against one of the
original purposes of ICANN, which is to *introduce *competition between
registrars, *not* remove it.

The fact that Verisign would be allowed to operate its own Registrar
basically allows it to build a monopoly, not dissimilar to Amazon selling
the same products as the retailers in its Marketplace at better conditions
by using privileged knowledge of the market and its customers - which only
lead to Amazon's growth, in *detriment* to the market itself and its
consumers.

Also, 7% price increases, year over year, is astronomical and absolutely
unrealistic.

Sincerely,
Y. Mayer
