As the owner of a .com domain, I think that this change is a very bad idea.
Having the price follow inflation is fine, but 7% increase is ridiculous.
Verisign reported a 69.4% operating margin in Q1 2019, so this isn't a matter of
the cost not covering the expenses, or even just barely doing so.

Domain names are an essential part of the decentralized nature of the internet.
Making .com more expensive will lock people out of the market and will make
small domain owners like myself consider just using alternative DNS roots.
This would fracture the internet into a million pieces.

Please don't pass amendment 3.
