[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Unrestricted price increases? OUCH!

I simply don't understand how ICANN, an organization whose mission is to
manage some of the most important aspects of the *public* internet for the
benefit of the *public*, an organization which claims to work in
a "bottom-up, consensus-driven, multi-stakeholder model" can possibly even
consider allowing a single entity such as Verisign to raise prices by
7% **every
year*.*

As others have noted, this may not be a big deal for big companies. It is a
VERY big deal for those of us INDIVIDUALS who own a couple of domains and
want / need to keep them.

I strongly urge you to walk away from this HORRIBLE deal for the public
that you are supposed to serve.
