[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] ICANN and Verisign price increase

I am dismayed to learn of the closed-door deal between ICANN and Verisign
that will lead to significant .com price increases over the next decade. I
am not against extra funding for data infrastructure improvements, but
there needs to be much more transparency about the terms of the deal since
it will affect so many small businesses and individuals. From what is
visible to the general public, this deal looks like a conflict of interest
bordering on corrupt practices. Prove me wrong by making the decision
between ICANN and Verisign transparent, open to public scrutiny, and
ACCOUNTABLE to the millions it will affect.
