Hi,
I believe that the right to access and impart of information is a human
right, especially in this information age. The means to exercising that
right, including access to domains, no less the .com domain, should be
accessible to all in a transparent and affordable manner. Any act that in
any way affects this right needs a transparent and public participation and
consensus. There is a great digital divide in the world today, and any
increase in price simply entrenches that divide. Ideally we should be
moving in the opposite direction to bridge the divide, not widen it.
