[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] ICANN should work to keep costs down

Dear ICANN,

ICANN has been granted governance over the domain system. Good
governance means with consent of the governed and in their interests. In
this case, the governed end users would very much like .com domains to
stay inexpensive and reliable.

The proposed conflict of interest between Verizon the .com domain
operator and Verizon the future reseller of .com domain registration,
will inevitably squeeze consumers and hurt competition.

As long as Verizon has a monopoly over .com domain operation, it needs
to stay regulated like a monopoly, with price caps.

As a domain owner and affected end user,

T. Bohl
