To whom it may concern,

I hereby express my disapproval of  the above amendment, because

1) ICANN should stay and independent body - and not creating a kind of
monopoly by teaming up with big players like Verisign, just to

2) negotiate behind closed doors a price increase of .COM domains, that
effects  SMEs ("You Inc") or even just early participants,

3) without declaring how that money would be spent for e.g. improving the
domain infrastructure.

So I would suggest that

A) ICANN remains equidistant to all players,

B) and transparently discusses monetary requirements

C) to keep DNS/TLDs functional and as open as possible for as many
participants as possible by not establishing another market barrier
especially for SMEs by rising .COM fees.
