Dear Sir/Madam,

This is with reference to the proposed amendment 3 to the .com registry
wherein ICANN is unilaterally allowing Verizon to increase the .com domain
prices. This is an arbitrary decision and an anti-competitive one. It does
not bode well for the internet at-large. I am writing this email to protest
against the said amendment and it should be outrightly quashed.

ICANN must desist from giving such rights to the TLD holder wherein
monopolistic practices can lead to making it difficult for startups and
public to avail a .com domain at reasonable price, especially those in
developing countries. ICANN has fiduciary responsibility towards the public
and must desist from giving such rights to Verizon.

Thank you.

Regards,
