I think the internet is only as free and public as it is affordable to
maintain a presence on.  I don't know what rationale there is to allowing
.com domains to increase in price drastically.  It seems like this will
allow domain bullies and trolls further power to leverage squatting into
financial gain, and will pollute the .com TLD.
