[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement

I am a registrant of a number of .com domain names.

Verisign has a monopoly. Costs for running a registry through advancing
technology and volume are decreasing, yet ICANN is allowing Verisign to
increase prices without putting the contract for running the .com registry
out to competitive tender. This is a monopoly.

This strategy is designed to limit the degree of competition inside a market
and reinforce the monopoly power of established business to command excess
profits.

I am opposed to this contract change and price increases.
