I am a domainer (I invest in domain names as a business).

I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains. If you have a steady price and there is no price increments during the next years, you will have more earnings as people will invest more in hand registrations.

Furthermore as internet gains popularity worldwide and 5G networks are becoming a reality, cheap .com domains will be affordable for anyone in the world. The measure you are promoting will reduce .com registrations and people will register more domains in other tlds or cctlds instead of Com.
