I oppose the proposed price increase. 

Quite simply - everything related to the internet and technology in general has gone down over the years. Domain hosting costs a fraction of what it did before. Domain registration renewals too have dropped over the past twenty five years  So why should domain registrations now suddenly increase?  What is the justification?

Although just a few pennies these add up to unnecessary costs for domain holders, and needless extra profits for ICANN.
