I am not in agreement with the recent agreement between ICANN and Verisign
that will significantly impact (decrease) the accessibility of domains for
small businesses and the digital community as a whole. Increasing wholesale
domain prices potentially more than 70% over the next decade is
unacceptable. Please reconsider. At a minimum, Verisign needs to
implement accountability measures on how ICANN is going to use this
additional $20 million dollars over the next 5 years and ensure that the
funds are properly spent on domain infrastructure.
