I oppose Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement.

ICANN receiving $20 million from Verisign seems a conflict of interest, as
well as how Verisign would be able to operate as a domain registrar.

ICANN also has a history of ignoring comments on previous actions such as
price controlling .ORG, .INFO, and .BIZ TLDs. ICANN should take the public
comments they receive seriously and act in parallel to their principles
that include "bottom-up coordination" (

If ICANN needs the $20 million in order to operate, they should provide an
itemized list of costs as a plan to justify these actions. As it stands, I
and countless others are not convinced.
