I use the Internet and I am a .com registrant.
I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains.
No one other than Verisign want increases in .COM prices.
Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry and it has no business dictating the price.
ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest.
It is important for the internet to remain easily accessible for everyone at a low cost, specially .COM domains as they often get precedence over other tlds in questions such as SEO.
Furthermore the internet should remain decentraliced as opposed to small businesses only registering at huge plattforms such as facebook.
