[Comments-info-renewal-18mar19] .info price caps

I'm a librarian who uses the .info domain to showcase my ePortfolio for potential employers. Librarianship is a career path that many people do not necessarily go into for the money. As an information professional, I appreciate using the .info domain and my last name as a form of personal branding, but if I do not know what to expect with regards to pricing, I will probably switch my ePortfolio to a free option such as Google Sites if pricing becomes unreasonable/unstable. I do not look forward to migrating and "rebranding," but I will do this if prices are not kept in check.
I think many other consumers will also look for alternative web presence options if price caps are eliminated. Please keep the current annual cap, as many who have purchased .info domains have already established expectations as consumers. Reading through the comments, many others have expressed similar concerns and also the potentially negative side effects this could have on shared knowledge and collaboration.
Thank you,Eric
