The .info domain name is used by many organizations that participate in the
dissemination of information important to the open-ended discussions that
support the democratic process.

It would be a tax on free speech to impose a cost that is not tethered to
some objective measure, such as inflation rate.

A 10% annual increase is surely well above what is required to keep up with
inflation.
