[Comments-org-renewal-18mar19] Writing in opposition of uncapping fees for .org domains

Hello,

As an entrepreneur and former employee of a non-profit, I have often worked
with a limited budget and constant financial challenges. Like most modern
businesses the non-profit I worked for also relies heavily on the Internet
to reach its users, donors, and beneficiaries. The .org domain has for many
years been offered for sale at reasonable prices that non-profits and small
businesses can afford, allowing innovation and supporting the positive
efforts of non-profits and other public benefit organizations. The proposal
to uncap fees that the registry operator can charge will have a dramatic
negative impact on hundreds of thousands of non-profits, entrepreneurs, and
the like. There is no compelling reason aside from pure profit motive to
allow this rule change and I strongly oppose it. Please remove this change
for the renewed agreement for the .org domain name!

Sincerely,

Oshyan Greene
