[Comments-org-renewal-18mar19] Opposing the change to PIR contract to remove price increase cap

Hello,

I am writing as the owner of a few .org domains. The .org TLD is an
important part of the contemporary internet infrastructure, and as a small
business owner I rely on both the consistency of pricing for domain names
as well as the widespread recognition of the TLD. While PIR could
undoubtedly make more money by increasing the price beyond 10% per year,
these domains are of historical value and PIR's role as a steward of them
should not allow for usury. Reasonable, predictable price increases are
both fair and allow for appropriate planning from owner's such as myself.
The creation of new TLDs is the place for experimental pricing and
outrageous feels - not the established TLDs, particularly .org.

Thank you,
Douglas Whitaker
