[Comments-org-renewal-18mar19] Comments on cost increase cap for .org TLD

Hello,

I write to express my strongest opposition to one element of the proposed
renewal of ICANN's agreement with PIR about the .org domain. The proposed
contract language contains *no* cap on rate increases, which would permit
PIR to increase the cost of existing and new domains without limit
whatsoever. The expiring contract contains a 10% cap on increases, which is
more than enough. It is noteworthy that current .org registrations are
already more costly than those in many other TLDs, yet there are no
additional services rendered or required (e.g. verifying
identities/geography) that would explain this difference.

Please add a 10% cap on rate increases to the new contract language.

Sincerely,

Eric Nystrom
