[Comments-org-renewal-18mar19] Please do not allow unreasonable price increases.

While part of me does not necessarily disagree with the proposal in that it
would allow a free market to take place, I do believe it will upset the
market if left as it. Millions of organizations that use .org as their
primary domain name extension for their websites have well established
sites and will be reticent to change domain name extensions, even in light
of a significant price increase. Therefore, the proposal could lead to
price gouging. Furthermore, if millions of sites do suddenly decide to move
away from having a .org extension, this could lead to the extension
crumbling altogether, leaving the remaining .org sites to be forced to
change. Of course, this is all speculation, but it is not out of
the question.

I suppose my opinion is, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Even if the
price increase cap has to increase to 15% or even 20% per year, this is
still much more responsible than removing the cap altogether.

Thank you for your consideration.
