[Comments-org-renewal-18mar19] Proposed Renewal of .org Registry Agreement

Greetings:

I am writing to state my opposition to the plan to allow for unfettered
price increases for .org domain names, and further to oppose continued
price escalation by domain providers for any domain extensions. Doing
so only creates further imbalance between the haves and have-nots. The
growth of the internet and all the innovation resulting from it has been
in large part due to the relatively low cost of entry for anyone - large
corporations, governments, non-profits, and regular people all over the
world. Creating an unregulated marketplace benefits only one group -
the wealthy individuals and corporations who will be unaffected by price
increases, and who will then squeeze even more out of the rest of us for
the "privilege" of having a space of our own online.

Please do not allow this to occur.

Regards,
