ICANN should not allow the renewing of a contract without any pricing restrictions in place. Such a loophole shouldn’t need to exist and fair prices should be charged. Anything else will hinder businesses getting started. 

We’ve seen the same with rental pricing, This will only serve to incentivise and contribute to companies maximizing profit on single transactions.

The same goes for any and all domains including .org, .info and .biz
